GOOGLE IMPACT CHALLENGE

Let’s make the world a better place

Google invited Canadian nonprofits to share their best ideas for how to build a better world through technology. From hundreds of entries, they narrowed the field to just ten projects that have the potential to really change the world and make an impact in people’s lives. Timber worked with creative agency Enso to create this fun and delightful journey that illustrated visually what each of these nonprofits represented. Each little story featured a creative use of typography that resolved out of the elements that represented their cause. The video was then used to promote the micro site where people could vote on what they felt were the best projects. In the end Google will fund the nonprofit that gets the most votes with a grant for five million dollars. Its not often we get to make art that helps benefit the world. It was an honor to be apart of the Google Impact Challenge!
